Karen Pontoppidan’s new series „CONTEXT“ includes 100 brooches, made in the same manner but not identically. The series based on the idea of outsourcing the craftwork. KP developed the concept, and asked different people from different professions to realize parts of the CONTEXT-brooches. At the end of this process KP signed each of the brooches. Although the production is standardised every single brooch is unique, due to the differences in color, shape and size, and the price is reasonable thanks to the manner of production.
