EXPO ‘Jewellery by Winfried Krüger’ – Pforzheim Jewellery Museum, Pforzheim (Germany) – 19 Juill.-19 Oct. 2014
Jewellery by Winfried Krüger -
Well-defined contours, audacious shapes and surfaces, as well as playful contrasts, are only a few of the features that characterize the pieces of jewellery created by Winfried Krüger (*1944) — whether they are crafted from pure silver, from enamel or paper.
The wide variety of stimulating impressions in his surroundings is far too inspiring to limit himself to certain materials only, or to a single subject-matter. This goldsmith and jewellery designer worked as an instructor at the Technical College of Pforzheim’s Goldsmithing School until 2011 and was awarded the Baden-Württemberg State Prize for Arts and Crafts in 1992.
