Sobriety Ria Lins

« Using different materials – gold, silver or silk – to get her message across, she creates appealing necklaces that snugly drape around the wearer’s neck and delight her with their soft feel and subtle shimmer that is shown off to maximum advantage when in motion.«
“Those who don’t connect with others don’t exist“, says Ria Lins. This jewelry designer’s creations revolve around themes like ”contact” or “comfort”, and her most important source of inspiration – and one of repeated amazement to her – are human relationships. Inspired by her desire to restore broken relationships, she creates pieces that display marks of repair, mending or embroidery. She regards a finished piece as an expressive medium because its not only a wearable piece of jewelry, but also speaks a language of its own that conveys her ideas and feelings to others.
