Orbital by nature, jewelry art lives on the body. Jewelry art invites comment. Jewelry art says, « Howdy! ». It is with pleasure that Facèré Jewelry Art Gallery offers Outer Limits, an exhibition of jewelry art that is as playful as it is avant-garde. Each featured artist experiments with peripheries – pushing the boundaries of material, technique and form.

Arthur Hash, « Inflated Chain » Necklace in glass infused nylon. 3-D printed. Approx 74″ long. Chain links are 22mm x 14mm. Largest element measures 6 x 1 1/2 x 1 1/2″.

Davide Bigazzi Parole, Parole Cuff in sterling silver, 18k gold and white diamonds.

Kat Cole Short Stories: 418 Atlantic Brooch in steel and brass.

Karen T. Massaro Interruptions by Letter and Word Porcelain hollow reversible beads with onyx spacer beads. 24″ long. Beads measure 5/8 – 1 1/4″. Sterling silver clasp hand forged by Danish silver smith.

EXPO ‘Signs of Life 2010′ – Facere Gallery, Seattle (USA) – 6-27 Oct 2010

Signs of Life is a contemporary jewelry art show and companion jewelry art catalog/literary journal. The show features work by ten artists. The catalog/literary journal pairs these jewelry artists with ten writers in a unique publication that celebrates both literature and jewelry art.

Show opening and catalog publication date: October 6, 2010. This is the sixth year of publication of Signs of Life, a literary magazine.
