 Nacida en Alemania, actualmente vive y trabaja en Berlín,pero se graduó en nuestra Escuela de Arte de Sevilla en la especialidad de Esmalte al Fuego sobre Metales. La joyería contemporánea es su manera de contar historias, hacer preguntas, comunicarse y provocar al espectador.
Los materiales que trabaja principalmente son la Plata y el Esmalte al Fuego sobre cobre, en constante búsqueda de formas, colores, líneas, superficies y texturas para expresar la contrariedad de los conceptos, el espacio entre ellos y la influencia entre sí.
Para aplicar el concepto a la realización técnica utiliza el esmalte artístico en el cobre (850ºC), jugando con la fina línea del punto de fusión del esmalte, para representar la idea del contraste.

Born in Germany, currently living and working in Berlin, I have graduated from the School of Applied Art and Design in Seville (Spain) in enamel art, silversmithing and jewelry. Contemporary jewelry is my way to tell stories, ask questions, communicate and provoce communication.
« My work is an experimental and personal dialogue with the contrariety of two concepts and their relation to each other. The conscious and the unconscious, the past and the future, the truth and the lie, the go and the stop, the remembrance and the forgetfulness, the inside and the outside, the maker and the observer, you and me.
I am interested in the connection of two concepts and the undefined space in between them. »

After its great success, we are happily heading to the third edition of « The after Joya Effect” Exhibition. More than 50 Greek and International Artists had shown their work in our gallery, taking part in 7 Solo and 2 Group Exhibitions!!
Popeye loves Olive – Art Space, sited in the historical center of Athens, aims to the interaction and the transformation of individuality to collaboration, diversity to unification and exchange to sharing.
This year, 33 selected artists from 16 different countries, are called to participate in the project, with the work shown in Joya Barcelona, Jewelry Art Fair, the previous year.
During the event, once again, the public, will vote for their favorite artist, who will be invited for a Solo exhibition at Popeye loves Olive – Art Space.

Talente 2016 presents the work of 102 artists, designers and craftsmen from 26 countries in 12 different areas of production. This year Talente has also participants from Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Lithuania, South Africa and Argentinia. Talente will show innovative and very different works in glass, ceramics and jewellery as well as a very large selection of textiles. The works are inspired by considerations of material and re-use, the specific haptic and visual qualities of materials and the effect of their combination. The artists experiment with various surfaces and use materials in unusual ways. It is fascinating to observe how surfaces contrast and harmonize how perfection and decay are evoked.
As in the last years, an unusual high number of applications arrived for “Talente” from the field of jewellery. The young artists show a special interest in the techniques and ideas of the collage and the use of unusual materials like basketry, ceramic, plaster, textile and different stones. The works concentrate more on the surfaces themselves less on decorative embellishments. In many instances they emphasise the archaic and rough side. A pattern is also created by the materials themselves.

« My work is an experimental and personal dialogue with poetry, intuition, the conscious and the unconscious, culture, experiences, emotions… I communicate the basic human emotions and memories through color, textures and narrative objects. My work is like a souvenir one takes home from a trip abroad, allowing oneself to return to the moment of purchase and be flooded with all the memories.

Du 20 octobre au 12 décembre 2015, Sébastien Carré et Florine Menant présentent Transmission, une exposition de bijou contemporain et du travail artistique de la matière, au Studio 411 à Montpellier.

« Nombre de connaissances et de savoir-faire sont parvenus jusqu’à nous par l’intermédiaire de rencontres et d’échanges. Le contact et la communication ont permis de tout temps à l’Homme de se perfectionner et d’étendre nos compétences ainsi que nos connaissances. Nous avons déjà pu constater dans certaines cultures (où les échanges ont été ralentis ou stoppés) des connaissances ancestrales disparaissent et qui demandent désormais à être réinterprétées, réinventées, transmutées.
Cette exposition vise ici à faire prendre conscience que le travail de la matière ne doit jamais être réduit à un artisanat, il est bien plus que cela : il est vecteur de savoir, de culture et de sens. Il faut au contraire, bien plus le considérer comme une forme d’expression artistique contemporaine bien plus apte à faire rentrer l’art dans nos vies de tous les jours.
Célébrons les échanges et abolissons ces codes qui visent à tout faire rentrer dans des cases pour enfin réellement apprécier et vivre l’art de façon totale afin de ne pas laisser l’individualisme vider nos sociétés de ce qui fait leur beauté.

el 20 de agosto se inoguró  en Medellin Colombia la primera muestra de joyería internacional de joyería contemporánea organizado por 3 joyeras y un arquitecto.

Convocada por el grupo Grupo DELAMANO, la exposición mostrará el trabajo de  33 de Colombia, Argentina, de EEUU, Bulgaria, Rumania, Alemania, España y Grecia, Taiwan y México en San Fernando Plaza y Naranjo & Velilla

La artista argentina invitada es Jessica Morillo (Ansiosa Hormona), que participará junto a artistas destacados como Jorge Manilla.

La muestra inaugura el 20 de agosto a las 19 hs, y estará abierta al público durante siete días.

Nell’ambito della mostra, la mattina del 30 agosto, nella sala conferenze della Fondazione, sara’ tenuto un seminario composto da due conferenze: la prima relatrice sarà la prof.ssa Maria Rosa Franzin, docente di progettazione orafa presso l’Istituto Pietro Selvatico di Padova, che parlerà del gioiello nella contemporaneità. Il secondo relatore sarà il Prof. Michael Pell docente di lavorazione dei metalli e oreficeria della Scuola Glasgow School of Art – la scuola di Charles Rennie Mackintosh – che presenterà il progetto didattico ed i lavori degli allievi.
