“For me contemporary jewelry is the way to express my self. I create by taking inspiration from the cultural texture and the geography I live in. The diversities and the contrasts of this geography are the colors of my universe & works. I experience the materials and production techniques by blending the contrasts such as the east and the west, the local and the global, the traditional and the modern, the geometric and the organic…”

« At the beginning, all is empty and dark.
It looks like a never-ending sphere.
The darkness is strong and heavy.
Only a small grain from the destroyed world remains.
It’s floating and collecting positive energy from the space.
In the right moment, at the proper place, it explodes at the speed of light.
From one moment to another, the universe is full.
Blending, full of light, waiting for you.
Make a wish.
Create the new world of light, gravid in possibilities.
By focusing on the essentials we reach the blurred lines between natural and artificial.
These relationships are the jewel in the composition of freedom and individual expression.
Sometimes we see only what we want to see. Sometimes it’s enough.
We want to know the truth behind the things.
Truth is freedom.
So we ask, investigate and are curious.
We want to find out how things work.
We are creating universe with the least constraint.
The need to create is an elementary necessity of us all. » – Viktoria Munzker

AND UPCOMING EXHIBITION :
I am delighted to be part of «Ringing the changes» – a ring exhibition at the exceptional Victoria Sewart Gallery. The exhibition will run from April 15th until July 16th 2017.
// Je suis ravie de faire partie de « Ringing the changes », une exposition de bagues à la galerie Victoria Sewart à Plymouth. L’exposition commencera le 15 Avril et durera jusqu’au 16 Juillet.
Marion Lebouteiller - ring – at « Ringing the changes 2017″ Victoria Sewart Contemporary Jewellery Gallery.
« Marion draws her inspiration from the beauty of things imperfect, impermanent and incomplete. Today, her background as a sculptor in a bronze foundry deeply influences her approach to contemporary jewellery. She has been experimenting with a sculptor’s wax she heats up then twists and stretches to create stunning pieces later to be cast in silver or recycled gold. The result highlights the unpredictable nature of the warm wax as well as the spontaneity of her gesture and movement while letting the material express itself to its full potential. The perfect high polish of the inside of her rings creates a beautiful contrast with the matte finish and makes them very comfortable to wear. »
« Ringing The Changes is an exhibition of internationally renowned British jewellers designing distinctly modern rings, complimenting both the contemporary and the traditional. Striking rings for all occasions, including bespoke wedding rings.
The exhibition includes 8 new designers, and new work from current Victoria Sewart Gallery designers. All specialising in rings made from a wide range of materials; traditional, contemporary, precious and affordable. Sustainability is important with the designers using materials that are sourced as ethically as possible. »
Marion Lebouteiller ·at ADA Gallery – textured ‘Absolu’ drop earrings made from recycled silver
« Her creations are born out of a fascination for materials, colours and beauties of nature. « I grew up surrounded by 150 volcanoes and I am somehow hoping that the wearer will find and feel a connection with nature that s/he might have forgotten or never had.«
